Cottage Antiques is owned by
San Diego natives Cordelia & Bob Mendoza. Antiques, decorating
and collecting have always been a sideline in Cordelia's life.
Ready for a career change, Cordelia first rented space in an
antiques mall in 1986, in preparation for her own antiques mall
which opened in Ocean Beach in 1988 after she left San Diego
City Schools. In 1997, Cottage Antiques was opened.
Showcasing a distinctive array of unique objects and antiques,
it focused on the home and garden. When you visit us, you'll
encounter a special shopping experience in casual yet
sophisticated surroundings, unlike any other store in San Diego.
Once inside the foyer, you'll sense that you're about to embark
on an enchanting adventure, one with delightful finds at every
turn. Cottage Antiques is one-of-a-kind and an inspiration
displaying simple yet elegant collections of antique and vintage
home furnishings and accessories that reflect San Diego's unique
coastal lifestyle. Cottage Antiques has a reputation for a
unique decorating style reflected in the displays that are ever
changing as the inventory is constantly refreshed. Our customers
delight in the outdoor cozy cottage in our backyard garden.
